The TB Control system creates a foundation and a structure for case management of persons with active and suspect tuberculosis, TB surveillance and screening, contact investigation and targeted testing. The system consists of three modules that are fully integrated within our Public Health Information Management System (PHIMS): TB Screening, TB Clinical, and TB Case Management.
Information pertaining to skin tests, symptom evaluations, physician orders, x-rays, lab, medications, acuity and clinical notes is captured and available to all authorized users regardless of their location and affiliation.
RVCT and ARPE are generated by the system and are readily available to users. A wide variety of pre-configured reports and alerts, custom reports, charts and geographical maps are also available. The information is easily exported for statistical analysis.
Digital signatures, accurate audit of data entry and editing, user defined screens and user controlled field configurations make implementation simple and easy.
These capabilities will allow your Public Health Tuberculosis Unit to move to a fully automated paperless system that will increase your Unit's efficiency and improve the quality of care.
Advanced Business Software provides user training, implementation services, database hosting and administration, system maintenance, updates, upgrades, user and technical support. No upgrades to user's workstations are required; users need only access to the Internet.
Most importantly, Advanced Business Software ensures the security of medical information and protects the confidentiality of client's records. Close adherence to the CDC, HIPAA, PHIN and NEDSS rules and recommendations guided the development of this highly scalable web-based system.
