A part of PHIMS (Public Health Information Management System) the Immunization Registry creates a foundation and a structure for a community wide immunization tracking systems with robust search and de-duplication capabilities that enable simultaneous access to the information by clinics, hospitals, physicians, schools, WIC, senior and family health centers regardless of their location.
These capabilities enable Public Health departments to move to a fully automated paperless system. The system manages the entire process including:
-
Consolidating immunizations from all providers into one complete record
-
Providing direct access for schools and other providers to immunization history
-
Producing reminders and recalls for immunizations due or overdue
-
IZ Decision Support and statistics
-
User configurable data export to CoCASA
-
Vaccine inventory management for each provider
Information is available in a wide variety of pre-configured reports and alerts, custom reports, charts and geographical maps. Digital signatures keep an accurate audit of data entry and editing, while user defined screens and configurable fields make implementation simple and easy.
